Recording Sessions

Book Lydia for your recording sessions. She offers remote recording sessions from her home studio equipped with Aston and AKG microphones and the SSL 2+ interface. 

Lydia works and records cello for different producers, composers, and songwriters from all over the world, such as Youth, Chris Cara, Rushil, Ryan Martin, Phil Braithwaite, Jenn Bostic, Tara Hack, Andrew Maxwell, Abi Sampa, Sarah Darling, and Matt Mitchell. 

You can hear Lydia playing on Netflix and Amazon movies/series like Pennyworth and The Crown. She also undertakes cello sessions at recording studios in the UK such as Abbey Road, Angel Studios, Metropolis Studios, Air Studios, and RAK studios.

Concerts

Lydia Alonso is known as a versatile musician, playing solo and chamber music.

She performs in various venues and festivals across the world including Santander International Festival, Pablo Casals Festival, Luigi Boccherini Music Festival, Music China Festival, Malaga Music Festival.

She has curated chamber music concert series for many prestigious venues in Europe, such as Royal Albert Hall, Southbank, Auditorio Nacional de Madrid.

Festivals and Tours

Lydia works and tours, with artists such as Rushil, Indian/pop fusion singer Abi Sampa, American singer-songwriter Jenn Bostic, country singer Sarah Darling, rock artist Matt Mitchell, and IZZA. Lydia is a versatile cellist that covers all genres of music from classical, pop, country, electronic music, fusion, and rock. She plays both classical and electric cello. 

From 2021 she is preparing her classical crossover project with producer and guitarist Phil Braithwaite, which will be available on Spotify. This project will be a mixture of conservative and classical influences mixed with her curiosity about the outside world of classical music. Lydia’s music is an expression of herself and an expression of her deepest emotions.
